On Thursday, April 10, beginning at 6:30 p.m., Downtown Long Beach will hear the roar of race engines and feel the excitement of motorcycle stunts as the much-anticipated 14th Annual Thunder Thursday kicks-off the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach. Thunder Thursday will be fueled with gravity-defying motorcycle jumps, back flips and stunts, motocross performances, race car displays featuring Pirelli World Challenge Cars, autograph opportunities, Kress Market beer garden and live music by Paperplanes. The event will also feature a professional pit stop competition that will get the crowd going as two Verizon Indy Cars go head-to-head, and the Miss Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach Pageant where one lucky lady will ultimately be crowned winner.

Cadillac Kings Car Show
The event will also feature a classic car show presented by the Cadillac Kings of LA & OC. Over 20 classic cars will be on display surrounded by live music and beer garden.

The DLBA has once again partnered with the Grand Prix Association of Long Beach to sponsor and produce the 14th Annual Thunder Thursday which kicks off the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach.
The 40th Annual Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach will take place April 11-13, 2014. The 2014 Grand Prix features the IndyCar Series, with such stars as Scott Dixon, Marco Andretti and Graham Rahal battling wheel-to-wheel on the historic 1.97-mile, 11-turn seaside street circuit.
