Long before their brick-and-mortar opened its door along 3rd Street in DTLB, Rainbow Juices was operating by deliveries to coffee shops and cafes across the city. Through its popularity, they moved into the Downtown last year and are welcoming their one-year anniversary on Saturday, March 5.

”We are in love with Downtown Long Beach,” said co-owner Chrissy Cox. “From the folks who live here to our neighbors at Recreational Coffee, The Blendery, Yellow 108, and Howl… The people and the energy of Downtown are inspiring and filled with positivity.”

To thank those people that have contributed to both the energy Cox speaks so highly of as well as the success of Rainbow Juices, the cold-pressed juice heaven will be having a One-Year Anniversary Party on March 5 from 4PM to 10PM.

On top of grub from Sol Food, coffee pour-overs, teas and bites from Wide Eyes Open Palms, and the best kombucha in the region courtesy of Fine Feathers Kombucha Co., Rainbow Juices and crew plan on entertaining with free live music and, yup, fire dancers:

  • 4PM: Rene Marino
  • 5PM: Alyssandra Nighswonger
  • 6PM: Queen Califia
  • 7PM: Alicia Murphy
  • 7:45PM: JFPrapz
  • 8PM: Bearcoon
  • 8:45PM: Tiffany Dawn Hasse
  • 9PM: Sirena Serpentina Tribal Fire Bellydance

“We love being part of the local, homegrown Long Beach movement,” Cox said. “And we are especially grateful to the DLBA for making us feel at home and completely supported in our first year of business in downtown. We can’t wait to see what magic is in store in the coming years.”
